This is a mindset I can't easily describe, but which I find absolutely necessary for good writing. It is the buffer zone between myself, putting the words on paper, and the audience. It is a way of ensuring that every word is integrity driven. Does anyone else experience that need to shield oneself from an intended audience while in the process of writing?
