Soylent is great and all (and yeah I am still doing that) but there is something about creating original art in the form of a serial novel that is much more gratifying. Writing with this much fleetness and pressure is cleansing. Particularly as I realize that The Martian is an interesting book, not a full-fledged work of art. Apologies to J.K. Rowling, my mainstream competition is still not there. And writing + art + flute is a liberating conception. It feels as if I am creating a piece that encompasses a number of different forms of expression.
