SOLYENT LOG 6.1 "The Uplift Mofo Chaya-cantaloupe Plan"

I missed a day of writing about my "14 days of Soylent" challenge. Basically, work intervened in the form of a particularly problematic section of Cowachunga. Not only that, I cheated.

First off, a list of things I don't consider cheating:

1. Blending Soylent with ice and an evolving combination of fruits: banana, nectarine, cantaloupe, pear, apple.

2. Ditto, vegetables. Actually, my first experiment of this was last night when I combined chaya and cantaloupe with Soylent. Today I refined that with a half lime squeeze and it was like a very sophisticated oatmeal Gazpacho.

3. A cup of Knorr boullion each afternoon. For carnivorous nourishment.

]What I consider semi-cheating:

A bowl of shredded wheat and soy milk last night. I needed to use up the soy milk before it went bad and I had also finished up a Soylent package. Each package is designed for one day, so easier to start fresh in the morning.

Mea culpa:

Two days ago I started to get intense fantasies of real food. Also an apprehensive feeling that I must be missing out on some nutrients. I happened to be walking past Panda Express. I did it folks, I got a half-and-half two item meal. The crazy thing was I did not enjoy it. I had expected my body to react as if ravenous for "normal" food and instead it went "what are you doing putting this processed shit inside me?" The whole microbiome thing must be involved somehow. Further research required.
